"You're the devil, and you just made Daddy pee his pants. Good. Job."

Worst child ever. Title is from Patton Oswalt.

The Day So Far

Well, I got back Tuesday from my New Hampshire vacation. If you read my LJ, you'll see a large recap on there, but here are some highlights:

-Upgraded my phone to an LG enV 3
-Met a cool guy
-Spent time with my Dad and Mom
-Had two asthma flare ups
-Got into another comic book series
-Almost missed my flight to go back home
-Had a doctor's appointment and got a flu shot
-Math class

Yesterday, I spent time with my friend Ben on his birthday and bought Patton Oswalt's new CD/DVD, which...buy it right the hell now. It's hysterical. I also worked and spent time with Liz afterwards before I went to bed before 1 AM.

News/Stuff About Celebrities and Movies/Music/TV Shows/etc.
Most Recent Movie(s) I've Seen At Home:

'Dog Soldiers', directed by Neil Marshall, is one of the best werewolf movies I've ever seen. Let's face it, not many good ones have come out....really at all in recent years. It's getting to a point that if I hear that it's about werewolves, I immediately stop caring, because I know it's going to be stupid. This one isn't. It's a fun, tense, scary romp in the woods where soldiers on a routine training mission are being chased and terrorised by a family of werewolves, and they hole up in a cabin after being rescued by a woman who happened to be passing by. Will they survive the night or will they become food for the werewolves?

Grade: B

Most Recent Book(s) I've Finished:
Transmetropolitan volume 1. Written by Warren Ellis and drawn by Darick Robertson, it's the story of journalist Spider Jerusalem, who five years ago, fled The City for the solitude of the mountains, and to get away from fans who tried to "take out my gizzard". Now, thanks to the pesky calls of his editor, to whom he still owes two books, he has to go back to the city he hates, leaving behind his Ebola bombs and high tech security system.

It's one of the weirder comics I've ever read. Weirder than Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, weirder than some aspects of Watchmen {though because Warren Ellis is friends with Alan Moore, it makes a whole lot more sense}, but it's immensely entertaining and well written, and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Funny Picture(s) I've Found:
This brings someone to mind....who could it be?....

The Song Currently Stuck In My Head:
'Whole Lotta Love' by Led Zeppelin. I have a shirt that says Whole Lotta Love on it, and as such, the song will not leave my head. It's Zeppelin, though, so why would I want it to?

Jackie Earle Haley:
Hot Guy Of the Day
David Tennant
Quote of the Day
-Patton Oswalt: "Is there a forgotten Sumerian prankster god, and his feast day is July 3rd, he's got one worshiper left, and the dude killed a goat over a copper bowl, and it gave the prankster god 40 seconds of power in our realm? He just poofed into being and went, 'Did someone in Burbank just say there's no rats?! Well! Beans and grapes what jokes and japes I'll play! I need a telephone line, a hawk and the biggest rat you've ever seen! Oh, this shall be a NAUGHTY caprice! Don't forget to kill the goat next year! Poof!'"

Anything Else I Can Think Of
Band You Should Be Listening To:
The Speed of Film, a local band from New Hampshire. Buy their album on iTunes, listen to them on MySpace, they really deserve recognition. And I'm not just saying that because I'm friends with the lead guitarist. Go to www.myspace.com/thespeedoffilm to listen to their music.
